Scholarships

  • Scholarships for students

All the candidates who already benefited from a purse of master Erasmus Mundus cannot apply for a second scholarship.

 

Category A scholarships, granted to “non Europeans” students:

 

- students from outside   the 27 countries of the European Union;

- students from  Turkey, Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia-Herzégovine, Croatia, Kosovo with the title of resolution 1244/99 of the CSNU, former  Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia);

- and who are neither resident, nor had their main activity (studies, employment, etc) for over a total of 12 months during the five last years, at the date of candidature, in these countries.

 

Amount of the scholarship / 2years = 48000€

Detail of the scholarship:

- Contribution to installation, travelling expenses and any other type of expenses = 4000€/year

- Contribution to the expenses of participation in the master (all general and administration and operational expenses i.e registration fees, library, insurance, etc) = 4000€/semestre is 16000€/2 years

- Monthly Allowance = 1000€/mois

 

Category B scholarships, granted to  “European” students:

 

- students from the 27 countries of the European Union;

- students from  Lichtenstein, of Iceland, of Norway;

- or who are resident, or had their main activity (studies, employment, etc) for over a total of 12 months during the five last years, at the date of candidature, in these countries.

 

Amount of the scholarship / 2years = 23000€

Detail of the scholarship:

- Contribution to the period of training course in a third partner country = 3000€

- Contribution to the expenses of participation in the Master (all general and administration and operational expenses i.e registration fees, library, insurance, etc) = 2000€/semestre is 8000€/2 years

- Monthly Allowance = 500€/mois

  • Scholarships for academics

 

Within the framework of the Euromime program, the scholarships granted to the academics are for1 month (the minimum duration of the mission must be 2 weeks).

 

Scholarships for academics registered in establishments of third countries, invited in Europe by the Euromime consortium to contribute to the common program.

 

Scholarships for academics registered in the establishments of the Member States of the EU to contribute to the common program in the university(ies) of third -country partner(s).

 

Tuition fees

 

  • students benefiting  from  an  A category scholarship : 4000€/semester -  16000€/2 years

  • students benefiting  from  a  B category scholarship: 2000€/semester-  8000€/2 years

Bank account

 

The University of Poitiers signed a contract with BNP Paribas to open bank accounts for the students; this service is also available to international academics who request it. This contract includes free services such as: opening of the accounts, withdrawals in the three countries of the consortium, distance management, attribution of a free credit card. Moreover, permanent personalized assistance is available at the agency in Poitiers, by e-mail or by telephone.

 

All these services are presented in detail by the bank staff as soon as the students arrive in Students who wish it can use their own bank accounts by operating a free monthly automatic transfer from their BNP Paribas accounts to their own accounts.
